YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE

  • I don't live in Texas can you still be my therapist?
    Unfortunately not, as I am currently licensed in Texas. Therefore, I am only permitted to provide therapy services to Texas residents. I do provide mental health coaching if you live outside of Texas if interested click here.
  • How is telehealth therapy different from in person therapy?
    Teletherapy consists of video chat sessions rather than in person sessions in an office. These sessions will be performed over a secured electronic HIPAA compliant platform. They can be completed in the comfort of your home or a place where you can ensure your privacy.
  • What if my problems are too big for telehealth therapy?
    Most problems can be solved through telehealth sessions. However, some problems may need more intensive psychotherapy treatment. At any time it is deemed that you will be better served in a traditional therapy setting, resources in your community will be given and your teletherapy sessions will be discontinued.
  • What is the cost of therapy?
    Therapy can be covered by some insurance companies. Mosaic Counseling and Wellness is paneled with the following insurance companies Aetna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, Cigna, Oscar, Oxford, and United Healthcare. If your insurance company is not listed you can still receive therapy service and be provided with a superbill to provide to your insurance company for reimbursement.
  • What are your hours of operation?
    Tuesday and Thursday 12pm-7pm Wednesday and Friday 9am-4pm
  • What if I am in crisis and need immediate help?
    Call 911 and talk to your local police department.
  • What is the cancellation policy?
    We understand that life happens. When you must absolutely cancel, please give us at least 24 hours notice. Except for unpredictable emergencies, you will be charged the full fee for the session (individual $160 or $225 couples) if canceled with less than 24 hours notice or if you are a “no show” for a scheduled session. These fees will need to be paid prior to you scheduling another session or will be charged to your card on file.
  • What is prepare-enrich?
    It is a program designed for marriage preparation for those that are considering marriage or engaged. For couples that are already married it can help to identify areas in your marriage that may need improvement.
  • How much does prepare-enrich cost?
    The cost for the program is my standard couples session fee plus a one-time fee of $35 which covers the initial online assessment.
  • How long does it take to complete the prepare-enrich curriculum?
    9 sessions total with 1 assessment session+8 program sessions.
  • What is solution focused therapy for couples?
    This approach is focused on what direction the couple would like to pursue (desired outcome) opposed to focusing on the problem or (past experiences) in the relationship.
  • Can I use my insurance to cover my Ignite Session?
    No, however you can utilize insurance to cover additional sessions if you decide to continue with therapy.
